NATIONAL FIGHT AGAINST PORNOGRAPHY, BOBBIE BURBRIDGE LANE,
CHAIRMAN

We must
continue fighting pornography …. Even though our nationwide
training for 3 years was very successful, pornography is
like cancer running rampant ! |
PHASE I: Most
of you know, that for the last 3 years, AMI, through the Burbridge
Foundation, Inc., has had trainings all over the United States,
taught by the top experts in the nation on fighting pornography.
These trainings were for the leaders including: Legal and Law
Enforcement; State and City Government; Media; Civic; Church,
Family Organizations, etc.
PHASE 2: NATIONAL WHITE
RIBBON CAMPAIGN. The national symbol for the fight against pornography
is the white ribbon. Every person in America knows about pornography….what
we need, now, is to maximize raising public awareness as to the
EXTENT that pornography has gone to….so that every decent
citizen in the United States “throws up their hands”
over pornography and says “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH” !!
We want to put as much
pressure, as possible, on our government… ..with a constant
reminder, via a “sea” of white ribbons all across
our nation, that our government will have no choice…but
to CURE the “BLIGHT” of pornography !!
Instead of
AMI “reinventing the wheel”….we will take Breast
Cancer’s successful nationwide Pink Ribbon Campaign as our
lead and use it to fight pornography with our WHITE RIBBONS !!
We are setting up a
NATIONWIDE TRAINING similar to our NATIONAL TRAINING previously
done in years 2003, 2004 and 2005. One of our goals for this Nationwide
Training will be to set up a nationwide speakers bureau where
we will train leaders in all categories to be speakers that can
go into their own community and meet with audiences, for example:
churches;
Kiwanis Clubs,
Rotary Clubs, Garden Clubs, PTAs, Civic organizations of all kinds;
College Sororities and Fraternities (both active on campus and
alums); State and City Government meetings such as the State Board
of Education’s yearly meeting with teachers from all over
the states. This will maximize, in a hurry, our White Ribbon Campaign
!!
In the months
preceeding our national training, we are starting The WHITE RIBBON
CAMPAIGN, nationwide, with personal contacts (individuals to individuals).....and
to all the clubs, churches, and organizations of any and all kinds,
that don’t require our sending a “SPEAKER” to
get them charged up and wearing the white ribbons.
WE MUST FIGHT ON !!!!!

our white plastic ribbon, given to those at convention, will now
have a satin ribbon attached to it saying “Stop Pornography”
… “Stand for Decency”.
